Storage Asia Welcomes SME D Bank and SME Investment Trust for Annual Business Visit, Highlighting Growth from 2 to 13 Branches in 5 Years.

Storage Asia Public Company Limited (“Storage Asia”), the operator of i-Store Self Storage, welcomed Mr. Pichit Mitrawong, Managing Director, together with executives and representatives from the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank), as well as representatives from the Trust for Venture Capital in SMEs (Sub-Fund 2), the company’s second-largest shareholder, and PPM Advisory Co., Ltd., in its capacity as trust manager. The visit took place on 2 October 2026 as part of the annual business visit for 2026.

The visit provided an opportunity to review the company’s overall business operations, financial performance for the first six months of 2026, business expansion progress, and future growth direction. It also highlighted the company’s achievements since the trust’s investment in 2021, when Storage Asia operated just two branches. Through continuous expansion, the company has grown its network to 13 branches, demonstrating its business potential and steady progress over the past five years.

In March 2021, the Trust invested approximately THB 29.99 million in ordinary shares of Storage Asia, representing a 21.45% shareholding at the time. The company then operated two branches: Silom and Sukhumvit 24 Building A. It subsequently expanded its operations within the Sukhumvit 24 project to Sukhumvit 24 Building B, supporting the growth of its self-storage business alongside office and retail spaces.

Over the following five years, Storage Asia continued to expand its business. A key milestone came in 2022 with the opening of its Sukhumvit 71 branch and the company’s listing on the LiVE Exchange (LiVEx), providing greater opportunities to access capital to support future growth.

In 2023, the company expanded through a joint venture model to develop the Sathorn One branch and opened its Hua Lamphong branch. In 2024, it accelerated its expansion by opening five additional branches: Udomsuk, On Nut, Chatuchak, Ploenchit – Nana, and Thonglor 9. This brought the company’s total network to 10 branches by the end of 2024.

In 2026, Storage Asia continued to pursue its expansion strategy with the opening of three additional branches: Surawong – Silom, EnTer – Don Mueang, and Ekkamai. The Ekkamai branch is currently the largest self-storage facility under the i-Store Self Storage brand in terms of building service area. As a result, the Group now operates 13 branches with a total self storage service area of more than 13,000 square meters.

In addition, the company has developed the storage management business under an asset-light strategy, offering end-to-end development and management services for self-storage projects to property owners seeking to maximize the potential of their real estate assets. This model enables the company to expand its network without having to invest in all properties directly.

For the first six months of 2026, the Company reported total revenue of THB 73.62 million, representing a 67% increase, and net profit of THB 9.39 million, an increase of more than 150% compared with the same period in 2025. These results reflect the company’s business development and continued expansion of its service network.

The Trust remains Storage Asia’s second-largest shareholder, holding a 12.28% stake, and continues to be one of the key investors supporting the company’s growth. From an operator with just two self storage branches, Storage Asia has expanded to 13 branches while diversifying its business models to strengthen its competitiveness and create sustainable growth opportunities for the future.
