i-Store Unveils 2026 Business Plan, Adopts “Supply Drives Demand” Strategy, Targets 200% Revenue Growth with 7 New Branches

i-Store has announced its 2026 business plan, moving forward with its “Supply Drives Demand” strategy to expand its customer base by increasing accessible, full-service self-storage space. The company will leverage its Storage Management model by partnering with leading landlords to develop, design, and manage storage facilities. It plans to open seven new branches, bringing the total to 18 locations with over 18,000 sq.m. of lettable space. i-Store also aims to rebalance its customer mix to 60% individual users and 40% corporate clients, while targeting 200% revenue growth. Expansion into key tourist destinations such as Phuket, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, and Hua Hin is also planned, alongside a continued commitment to ESG principles for sustainable growth.

Mr. Pakdee Anivat, Chief Executive Officer of Storage Asia Public Company Limited, a premium self-storage service provider in Thailand under the i-Store brand, stated that the company’s 2026 strategy focuses on sustainable growth through the “Supply Drives Demand” approach. This involves building brand awareness and expanding the customer base by increasing storage space in easily accessible locations, catering to both individual and corporate clients.

The company will also accelerate its Storage Management model, offering end-to-end services including development, design, and management of storage spaces for landlords or investors who prefer not to operate the facilities themselves. This model enables i-Store to scale its network efficiently under a standardized brand.

In addition, i-Store plans to expand through joint ventures (JV) with leading partners. In 2026, the company aims to launch seven new branches, increasing its total network to 18 locations and expanding total space to over 18,000 sq.m., representing a 91% increase year-on-year. Currently, i-Store operates 11 branches across Bangkok, including Silom, Sukhumvit 24, Sukhumvit 71, One Sathorn, Hua Lamphong, Udomsuk, Onnut, Chatuchak, Ploenchit–Nana, Thonglor 9, and Surawong–Silom.

The company also plans to optimize its customer portfolio by targeting a 60:40 ratio between individuals (including residents, tourists, and collectors) and corporate clients to ensure stable and balanced revenue streams. It will focus on serving SMEs and e-commerce businesses that require micro-fulfillment space in central urban locations, which is expected to significantly contribute to its projected 200% revenue growth.

Furthermore, i-Store is preparing to expand into key tourism-driven markets, starting with Phuket—where clearer developments are expected by 2027—followed by Chiang Mai, Pattaya, and Hua Hin. These locations are targeted to serve long-stay tourists and expatriates residing in Thailand.

Mr. Pakdee added that Thailand’s self-storage market is shifting from concentration in central Bangkok to suburban areas and major tourist cities. This trend is driven by the growth of e-commerce, which requires micro-fulfillment hubs, and changing consumer behavior, where self-storage is increasingly seen as an extension of shrinking living spaces.

In line with this trend, i-Store aims to build a comprehensive and accessible storage ecosystem for all users, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing quality of life and advancing Thailand’s self-storage industry sustainably. The company also continues to drive ESG initiatives, including e-waste management programs and upcycling plastic bottles into reflective safety vests for Bangkok Metropolitan Administration workers, demonstrating its commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
